Brackeys Godot Beginner Tutorial
| Fix game not loading/not allowing you access: 1: Some browsers will try to open a window to play the game, which won't work because I haven't made the project public. 2: This game doesn't work on mobile Apple devices, it works fine on android, even showing the mobile controls I made, but not on Apple, where it gets stuck loading. I might be able to fix this by porting the project to Godot 3 (from 4), but I don't know if that's a good idea. |
How to Play:
Move: wasd/arrows/left joystick (controller)
Jump: w/space/up arrow/bottom action button
Attack: s/down/press left joystick
When Brackeys introduced slowing down time, I knew what I had to do:
Slow down time: j/D-pad left/right joystick left
Speed up time: k/D-pad right/right joystick right
Description:
Don't touch the slime enemies or fall in bottomless pits. If you die you lose all your coins and restart from the beginning. You can attack slimes only when near them. There is a secret red berry that... well its a secret.
If I feel like continuing this game, I might add checkpoints and slopes, and I might expand the level with more coins, enemies, and whatever else. (I actually did I just haven't uploaded because its not done yet.)
Goal:
Make it to the ending, there are 3 different endings to do with coins.
Version
1.1.0
Credits:
I imported the assets from Brackeys tutorial, although I did modify them a bit (removed rounded corners) and tried to make it into my own game, but it's definitely heavily inspired. |
